Moonlake’s Reading Corner

Up until recently, reading was just a hobby even though I’m quite a bookworm among those in my social circle. I’ve always thought of reading as an intensely personal experience in the sense what touches me and strikes a chord with me might not have the same effect on other people and vice versa. Therefore, this is not a book review page despite its title. Rather, I’m more likely to share things like my views on different authors of the same genre, whether a particular series is a good serious read or light reading, recommendations for unusual books etc. Things that have contributed in the idea pool lying inside my head. Finally, my appreciation of books is limited to a somewhat narrow range. I only really love fantasy (old school epic fantasy, that is) and mystery and I prefer novels written for the adult market as opposed to YA.
