For starters, I am using the FATE Core system for character generation which is a very quick process compared to alternative systems. I am not doing it all the way, just 4 aspects for each twin sister and their starting skill pyramid. But that is really just skipping 1 aspect and the stunts section (which can be thought of as special moves or more generally how skills work differently for the given character).
