The moment she crossed the threshold

The line is not from Wild Writing actually but taken from the novel Northern Star Guide me Home by Jo Spurrier. I like the line a fair bit, in that I can take it in so many directions, such that I reused it for free writing for my female protagonist of my work-in-progress. Anyway, enjoy.

The moment she crossed the threshold she turned around, wondering if that was the right decision.

The moment she crossed the threshold she looked across to see how many had made it over with her.

The moment she crossed the threshold nothing felt different.

The moment she crossed the threshold she fell into an embrace she had been waiting for all her life.

The moment she crossed the threshold she stood rooted to the spot, gazing across the horizons.

The moment she crossed the threshold was met with cosmic applause.

The moment she crossed the threshold was the moment of her rebirth.

The moment she crossed the threshold she ran into a childhood version of herself.

The moment she crossed the threshold she was shot down by an arrow.

The moment she crossed the threshold she was surrounded by mist.

The moment she crossed the threshold she was swallowed.

The moment she crossed the threshold sunshine greeted her.

The moment she crossed the threshold she fell into shadow.

The moment she crossed the threshold she learnt to love rain.

The moment she crossed the threshold she weaved a spell.

The moment she crossed the threshold she shed all her clothing.

The moment she crossed the threshold she danced barefoot.

The moment she crossed the threshold she swallowed her tongue.

The moment she crossed the threshold she tried to go back.

The moment she crossed the threshold she leapt into an abyss.

The moment she crossed the threshold she bathed in a lake under starlight.

The moment she crossed the threshold a unicorn nuzzled her hand.
